Position Summary
We are seeking a driven Sales Manager to grow room and meeting space revenue by
developing new business, strengthening client relationships, and maximizing group and
corporate sales opportunities. This role is responsible for proactively selling guest rooms and
meeting/event space while positioning the hotel as a preferred destination for corporate,
group, and event clients.
Key Responsibilities
Actively sell hotel guest rooms and meeting space to corporate, group, and event clients
Identify, pursue, and secure new business through prospecting, networking, and sales
outreach
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, meeting planners, and
local businesses
Respond to inquiries and RFPs in a timely and professional manner
Conduct hotel tours and client site visits
Negotiate contracts and close sales in line with hotel revenue goals
Collaborate with operations and events teams to ensure the successful execution of
booked business
Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and client records
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in hotel sales, hospitality sales, or a similar B2B sales role
Strong understanding of room sales, group business, and meeting/event space
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Results-driven with a strong closing ability
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (or similar tools)
