As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead daily operations and drive sales performance.
Position Overview
The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales performance, customer service, staff supervision, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five (5) years of management experience in a retail or sales environment, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and can maintain high operational and service standards.
Training
Training Location: Head Office - Yorkdale
Training Duration: 4 weeks
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of Management and Sales Experience
Minimum 5 years of Customer Service Experience
Must be eligible to work in Canada
Strong administrative, organizational, and leadership skills
Professional, proactive, and dependable work ethic
Comfortable working independently and managing the store autonomously when required
Professional appearance and communication skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Proficient in: Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, POS systems, Gmail, Kijiji, and Facebook Marketplace
Strong product knowledge, attention to detail, and customer-oriented mindset
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing duties
Lead, coach, and support team members to meet sales goals and performance standards
Greet and assist customers, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Manage customer inquiries, phone calls, and order processing in a timely and professional manner
Handle administrative tasks including order booking, filing, installation scheduling, and customer follow-up
Ensure store upkeep, merchandising standards, and organization are consistently maintained
Maintain and grow the store's digital presence by creating and posting ads online (Kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, etc.)
Ensure compliance with company policies and uphold Flooring Liquidators' service standards
