Position Overview

We are seeking a Sales Manager to provide support to the Revenue & Marketing departments in managing the growth of business for Everwild Spa & Hotel, including the onsite restaurant Rhythm & Howl. To be responsible for mining new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, guaranteeing client satisfaction, securing and managing existing accounts for existing & future Everwild locations.



Shifts:

Full-time permanent.

Salary:

$75,000 - $85,000 per year



Key Responsibilities



Sales Strategies

Implement effective sales strategies to maximize the generation of sales/revenue. This can be a collaboration with our marketing team. Oversee & execute successful rollout of Christmas gift card program, including but not limited to the operation of mall kiosks. Acknowledge and monitor competition's sales and marketing strategies and collect market and competitive intelligence to assist in developing strategic plans in collaboration with the marketing team. Quote and negotiate prices within established parameters. Upon booking, prepare sales contracts, coordinate, and follow up with all hotel operations to ensure delivery of promised service/product. Implement Property Sales System to track, solicit and follow up on accounts.

New Business Opportunities

Coordinate and participate in sites, FAMs, industry & trade functions and shows. Actively acquire new business and maintain existing accounts through our booking platforms, prospecting, planned sales calls, and solicitations. Develop and maintain relationships and contact with key clients. Solicit client's post event satisfaction, regardless of where it was executed. Represent the hotel and spa at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions in Canmore, Banff, Calgary and beyond.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of proven sales management experience in the hospitality industry (preferably hotels, resorts, or spas). Established and active network of professional connections in Calgary within corporate, travel, and event sectors. Strong track record of securing group, corporate and leisure business in hospitality or tourism. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to thrive independently while also working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Knowledge of hotel revenue management and sales reporting systems an asset. Ability to collect, analyze and interpret revenue performance data. Open to growth in the role as the company expands. Driver's license.
