The Sales Manager will oversee the full sales process -- from lead intake and assignment to pipeline management and performance tracking. This role will work closely with the owner, marketing, and operations teams to improve sales strategy, maintain team accountability, and ensure an exceptional customer experience from first contact to installation handoff.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all incoming leads and assign them to sales representatives.
Maintain and optimize the sales pipeline in our CRM system.
Support and coach sales reps to improve close rates and consistency.
Collaborate with marketing to refine campaigns and increase qualified leads.
Track sales metrics, conversions, and performance goals.
Communicate with operations to ensure a seamless transition from sales to installation.
Identify process improvements to reduce delays or missed follow-ups.
Report regularly to company leadership on sales performance and opportunities.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in sales management, sales coordination, or sales operations (solar, construction, or home improvement industry preferred).
Proven ability to lead or mentor a small sales team.
Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, or similar).
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
A passion for renewable energy and customer satisfaction.
