Olympic Wholesale is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outside sales, particularly in the food industry, and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, and fostering relationships with clients to ensure long-term success.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and increase market share.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets.
Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and networking.
Manage key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, analyze performance metrics, and generate reports.
Collaborate with marketing, purchasing and customer service teams to align strategies and enhance brand visibility in the market.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies.
Requirements
5+ years experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role
Knowledge and experience with Sage X3 an asset
Strong understanding of sales strategies
Ability to make impromptu and analytical decisions
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
