Job Description

As a member of Silvera\'s Mixed Market Housing portfolio team and reporting to the Senior Manager of Mixed Market, this position will provide the highest level of sales, customer care, administrative support to ensure Westview Residence West and Westview Town Suites is fully occupied. This will include meeting with prospective residents, family members and the general public for tours to show and market suites in these two buildings, sign leases, and help with general customer service inquiries.

From time to time, the Leasing Agent may be called upon to assist other members of the mixed market team.

Responsibilities

• Understands and applies the strategic business initiatives as outlined by Silvera, which is to create sustainable communities through strong occupancy and waitlist management
• Understands and demonstrates Silvera\'s service vision and goals, assuring consistent quality in both customer service and administration duties for the mixed market team
• All Silvera employees are called upon to work within a multi-discipline team, with each prospect or community member at the center of all decisions and actions to allow each individual to live their best life
• Fully versed in the comprehensive range of housing offerings that Silvera provides and the requirements for each type of housing, with the ability to help guide prospects to the most appropriate housing setting based on their health and financial qualifications
• Based on the requirements for successfully accessing the correct funding model, and housing supports, reviews the housing application and supporting documents to ensure they are complete
• Professionally and with a positive and respectful approach, responds promptly to incoming calls, e-mails or faxes related to the application process to live with Silvera, following the prescribes inquiry process and subsequent documentation

• Minimum of 5 years\' sales and leasing experience to seniors
• Strong customer service orientation is essential
• Exemplary Customer Service Skills and dealing with the public
• Experience working with seniors, senior housing, property management, social services or other equivalent combinations considered an asset
• Holds a valid Alberta\'s Drivers License and is able to drive from community to community
