Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person to oversee daily store operations, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive sales performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, retail management expertise, and excellent communication abilities. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, implement merchandising strategies, and contribute to the overall success of our retail location.

Responsibilities



Supervise and coordinate daily store activities, ensuring smooth operations and high customer service standards Lead, motivate, and manage retail staff through effective training and development programs Oversee merchandising, pricing strategies, and product placement to maximize sales potential Manage POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity Handle recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members to build a competent workforce Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to meet or exceed sales targets Oversee purchasing decisions and inventory management to optimize stock levels Implement marketing initiatives to promote store offerings and attract new customers Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and store procedures Maintain organizational efficiency through effective time management and administrative oversight

Requirements



Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within a retail environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks Knowledge of merchandising, pricing strategies, sales management, and marketing techniques Experience with recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and team building Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and budgeting Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through effective time management Customer service-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability in negotiation, sales strategies, retail sales techniques, and store management
This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to lead a retail team while contributing to the growth of our store. Candidates should possess a blend of leadership acumen, operational expertise, and excellent communication skills to succeed in this position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 12 per week

Work Location: In person
