POSITION OVERVIEW:
Join the Virtue Vintage team as a Sales Leader and take a leading role in driving sales, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting the daily operations of our store. As a key leader on the sales floor, you will contribute to our strategic initiatives, foster team collaboration, and help us expand our impact in the sustainable fashion market. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Experience:
Greet customers with warmth and assist them in finding unique pieces that reflect their personal style and shopping needs.
Offer knowledgeable, personalized fashion advice with a focus on sustainability and intentional consumption.
Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns with professionalism, care, and a positive attitude.
Create a shopping experience that aligns with Virtue Vintage's mission, inspiring customers to embrace eco-friendly fashion.
Sales Leadership:
Drive sales by engaging with customers and meeting both personal and team sales goals.
Develop and implement strategies to reach revenue targets while supporting market growth.
Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system.
Lead by example, fostering a culture of positivity, collaboration, and accountability among the team.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
Build lasting relationships with current and potential clients to foster customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Store Operations:
Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and bank deposits.
Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store is clean, organized, and inviting.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with restocking, and report discrepancies to the Store Manager.
Uphold loss prevention practices and ensure smooth daily operations.
Team Leadership & Development:
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and improve performance.
Contribute ideas in team meetings to enhance store operations.
Assist with training, mentoring, and motivating the sales team, providing ongoing support and feedback.
Offer regular sales training to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
Monitor team performance, analyze sales data, and share updates with senior management.
Market Insight & Feedback:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
Share product knowledge with both customers and team members.
Provide valuable feedback to refine sales strategies and enhance the customer experience.
Ecommerce, Social Media & Marketing:
Assist with content creation, product photography, and on-camera promotion for social media platforms.
Support the execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and in-store events to drive engagement.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
2+ years of retail or sales experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Previous experience in the vintage or fashion industry and client relationship management is a plus.
Skills:
Strong sales, customer service, and leadership abilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in social media platforms and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
Basic computer skills and tech-savviness are a plus.
