We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for retail sales, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. This role requires excellent communication skills and a keen understanding of merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the sales team to achieve store sales goals and enhance customer experiences. Train, develop, and mentor team members in sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service excellence. Oversee daily operations including merchandising, inventory management, pricing strategies, and cash handling procedures. Manage payroll processes and ensure accurate record-keeping for all employees. Conduct interviews and assist in recruiting new team members to build a strong workforce. Implement marketing strategies to promote products and drive traffic to the store. Maintain effective communication with team members to foster a collaborative work environment. Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions while ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Monitor store performance metrics and provide feedback to improve operational efficiency. Handle administrative tasks including bookkeeping and budgeting as necessary.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in retail management or sales management roles. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively. Experience in supervising teams with a focus on training & development. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to enhance customer interactions. Proficiency in merchandising, purchasing, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives. Excellent organizational skills with strong time management capabilities. Solid math skills for handling transactions and managing budgets. Exceptional communication skills both in-person and over the phone, ensuring professional phone etiquette at all times. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
