Business Development Intern - Purpose Investments

What you will do:

As a Business Development Intern, you will play a key supporting role in helping our sales and business development teams expand relationships with financial advisors and institutional clients. Working alongside Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Wholesalers, you will gain hands-on experience in asset management distribution, sales strategy, and client engagement.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting BDMs and Wholesalers with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks. Assisting in the preparation of sales materials, presentations, and advisor meeting summaries. Conducting advisor and market research to identify new business opportunities. Updating and maintaining CRM records (Salesforce) to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Assisting in the coordination and execution of events, webinars, and roadshows. Analyzing sales data and campaign results to generate performance reports and insights. Collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Portfolio Management teams on strategic projects. Participating in team meetings, product training, and internal strategy sessions to build industry knowledge.

What you will bring:

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A strong interest in financial markets and investment management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-first attitude. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with Salesforce is an asset. Curious, proactive, and eager to learn from experienced professionals.
