At Telico, we provide smart VoIP phone systems powered by AI agents -- helping small and medium-sized businesses automate calls, voicemail, call routing, and customer service.
We're looking for a proactive Sales Executive based in the Greater Toronto Area to help grow our client base and strengthen relationships with existing customers. In this role, you'll meet clients in person and remotely, understand their unique needs, showcase our solutions, and ensure their long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management & Retention
Build strong, long-term relationships with SMB clients across Ontario and Quebec
Conduct regular check-ins (video or in-person) to ensure satisfaction, upsell services, and collect feedback
Identify and address client pain points using Telico's AI-powered VoIP features
Collaborate with support and product teams to continuously improve customer experience
New Business Development
Generate new leads through cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and networking
Schedule and host solution demos; support quoting and closing deals
Represent Telico at networking events and onsite client visits (expenses covered)
Maintain an organized pipeline and activity tracking in our CRM (Pipedrive)
Partner Relations
Onboard and support Telico resellers and partners in the GTA
Collaborate on co-marketing campaigns and joint business opportunities
Monitor partner performance and provide updates to leadership
Ideal Candidate
Based in Toronto/GTA and willing to travel locally for client visits
2+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, or Business Development
Background in telecom, VoIP, SaaS, or IT services is a strong asset
Comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Pipedrive, and Zoom/Meet
Confident, independent, and client-focused with excellent communication skills
Position Details
Location: GTA (Hybrid - 70% remote, 30% in-person client meetings/events)
Schedule: Flexible hours (20-40 hours/week, depending on candidate)
Compensation: Base salary + commissions + expenses covered
