On target income (OTI) is composed of your base salary + commission/bonus structure. OTI is a forecast of your potential earnings for the role.

Our client has proudly helped businesses in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, procure over half a billion dollars in government grants and SR&ED tax credits. Their consultants are dedicated to assisting organizations with obtaining funds for innovation.

About the role

• Generate net new business through referrals and inside sales leads
• Target companies - 10-80 employees is the sweet spot, some outliers have 300+ employees
• Industries - advanced technology companies that have an R&D function
• Decision makers you\'ll be working with - CTO, CFO, Controller or Co-Founder
• Average deal size is around $17,000
• Sales cycles range from 1 week to 1 month for referral deals and 1 year for deals generated from inside sales
• Travel required to BC and to visit clients on-site in Ontario - all expenses will be reimbursed

About you

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience
• Knowledge of the SR&ED industry is a plus
• Strong network of clients in the advanced technology or R&D space is a plus
• Strong sales acumen - driven to hunt new business
• Strong communication skills - both written and in person
• Driven to create connections, explain the value proposition and generate referrals from partnerships
• Comfortable traveling to visit clients on-site

What\xe2\x80\x99s in it for you?

• $65,000 base
• OTE is around $130,000 - $140,000
