With over 400,000 units installed worldwide, our client covers all major technologies, including continuous and thermal inkjet, laser, thermal transfer overprinting, and case coding.As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and expanding profit margins within your assigned accounts and territory.   • Promote Products and Services: Champion the value of coding, marking, and imaging products and services within your territory to enhance sales, grow revenue, and increase market penetration.
  • Understand and Negotiate: Grasp the value proposition and customer needs, and understand the business levers that impact value to prepare and negotiate successful contracts.
  • Market Intelligence: Share customer and market trends and competitive intelligence with internal teams (marketing, research, technical service, customer service, supply chain) to enhance market knowledge and capitalize on opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Forecasting: Develop sales volume, pricing, and margin forecasts, adjusting strategies to market changes via price adjustments or share gain.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, contributing to the company\'s leadership position and financial performance.
  • Revenue Generation: Conduct revenue-generating activities sustainably and efficiently within the sales territory.
  • Prioritize Opportunities: Identify and prioritize opportunities for equipment sales growth and execute specific actions to capture them.
  • Sales Efficiency: Improve sales efficiency through the use of tools like sales funnels and return-on-investment-based selling.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor\'s Degree required, preferably in a Technical or Business field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of technical service or account management experience with demonstrated success in a B2B capital goods selling environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Direct sales experience in the inkjet product coding industry is an asset.
  • Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Travel: Ability to travel 20% to 40% of the time.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with SFDC and Strategic Selling skills is a plus.
