What\'s this role about?
  • Our Sales Enablement team is growing! We are looking for a dynamic instructional designer to create customized training and e-learning. You will administer the Sales LMS, Litmos. You will receive written content from the Enablement Content Writer and Product Marketing Team and work closely with graphics teams to design and roll out content assets and interactive e-learning experiences, continually iterating as updates are required. Training will be outcome-oriented with a high level of interactivity and practical application. Experience working in an agile environment is considered a strong asset.
What will I be doing?
  • Auvik is experiencing explosive growth. We need an agile, flexible ID, to create engaging learning activities and course content that enhance the transfer and retention of product knowledge and demonstrations, sales conversations and sales competencies.
  • Identify learning objectives and ensure the training delivers quantifiable outcomes for learners.
  • Conduct research and analysis on learner personas and learning contexts, and work with subject-matter experts to identify training needs.
  • Transform concepts into experiential learning for use through (audio, videos, etc.), develop assessments, and create activities that enhance learning and validate performance.
  • Collaborate with LMS software providers to address backend and user-interface technical issues.
What are we looking for?
  • Ability to comply with style guides and adapt writing style and tone to match the brand, content topic, and target audience.
  • Adaptable and cooperative, capable of collaborating with a variety of cross-functional teams to achieve objectives without ego.
  • Strong research and information analysis skills with the ability to distill from or expand on existing content; interview and presentation skills an asset.
  • Highly organized and outcome-driven with the ability to meet project milestones and deadlines while working on concurrent projects and juggling multiple priorities.
  • Ability to self-manage time and work efficiently with little or no supervision.
  • Collaborative and able to work with diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Experience presenting on camera or performing voice over considered a strong asset.
  • Degree/Diploma in English, Journalism, Communication, Education studies, or a related field or substantial equivalent work experience (great writing samples are more important to us than a degree!).
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Instructional Designer in a professional or academic setting.
  • A minimum of 2 content samples in portfolio format like Articulate 360.
  • Excellent organizational skills are required to manage the concurrent development of multiple courses in collaboration with other team members and multi-disciplinary contributors.
  • Strong content curation and analysis skills to assess and integrate existing content with original content and adapt it to sales coursework.
  • Familiarity with various instructional design methodologies, including SAM, ADDIE, and Bloom\'s Taxonomy, and can identify when each should be employed.
  • Passionate about achieving business success through engaging learning materials in e-learning and m-learning environments and have experience in adult learning, curriculum design and planning, and knowledge assessment.
  • Ability to self-manage and take the initiative to drive project success, meet deadlines, and manage multiple timelines, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
  • Experience with Articulate 360, Rise, Litmos, Salesforce and SalesLoft is a bonus!
  • Ability to promote a Yes! attitude while working across different teams and agreeable to receiving 360 feedback from peers and managers.
