We are currently seeking a Sales Effectiveness Specialist to join our team.

This role is responsible for the coordination and implementation sales, service and member experience of initiatives and projects across First West, including being the key departmental reporting resource. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Sales Effectiveness, the Specialist manages and implements solutions to business problems including: planning, defining processes and business requirements, preparing business cases, implementing strategies, monitoring progress and deliverables, and securing consensus and co-operation from users and business owners, and measuring/monitoring. Day to day activities include: providing support to member facing teams and leaders, and manages day-to-day correspondence, tool design & delivery, sales tracking, reporting, and campaign management.

Here\'s what would be included as a part of your typical day * Retail and Business Banking Support: Acts as primary resource and contact for member facing teams on sales effectiveness, member experience or vendor related inquiries including, but not limited to: CRM, CIP and Beyond sales processes and rules, campaigns, products or services, Collabria, CUMIS and merchant services.

  • Performance & Insights Reporting: Builds and maintains written and detailed data reporting for sales, campaigns, vendor partners, and projects using various data sources and survey results.
  • Sales & Experience Program Maintenance: Coordinates and implements guidelines, metrics, reporting and audit for various programs (Beyond, incentive programs, in branch reviews). Organizes, completes field work, and enables various programs. Provides recommendations to leadership as required on program updates.
  • Sales Products, Initiatives and Campaign Delivery: Contributes to and leads implementation of new First West products, services and campaigns, including developing and leading sales training webinars, creating SOPs and writing communications; creates sales huddles, scripts, routines, toolkits to support ongoing sales effectiveness; and collaborates with other shared services teams including but not limited to IT, Enterprise Insights, Marketing, Learning and Development, Member Experience, Operations, and regional leadership to deliver on Advisory Sales initiatives
  • Communications: Shares relevant insights on Yammer to inform and create conversations; creates content and maintains the HUB pages owned by the department. Manages group inboxes by responding to and resolving staff and member needs internally and with vendor partners to maintain a working relationship. Escalates to other area leaders as appropriate.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required
  • Business/related field of study/ Lean certification (Whitebelt or equivalent) preferred
  • 3 years\' experience in the financial services or retail industry required
  • Experience servings members / clients in a banking environment and understanding data-based reporting for sales, operational, and insights use preferred
  • Effective time management and organizational skills to work independently and manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Able to build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Problem solver with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Resilient to change and able to effectively function in a quickly changing and less structured environment.
  • Strong PC literacy using a wide range of MS applications; advanced Excel skills, Powerpoint experience,
  • Competency in CRM and Banking systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, as well as through data.
  • Displays an understanding of risk and risk ownership by being able to demonstrate adherence to policies and procedures.
