About the Role:





We're looking for a

Sales Director

to join

Elte

, contributing to the leadership and growth of our retail and luxury sales team. This role involves engaging directly with clients, coaching and developing high-performing sales professionals, and helping deliver exceptional experiences in a fast-paced, design-driven environment. You will play an important part in fostering team performance, service excellence, and a positive culture, contributing to Elte's ongoing growth and shared passion for considered design.

What you will do:



Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales, gross profit, and customer experience targets. Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the company's customer base and strengthen market presence. Recruit, train, and develop sales talent through consistent coaching, feedback, and performance management. Conduct regular team meetings and 1:1 check-in's to communicate objectives, review performance, and foster continuous growth. Build and maintain strong client relationships by ensuring exceptional service, timely follow-ups, and personalized solutions. Analyze sales data, prepare performance reports, and present actionable insights and forecasts to senior leadership. Partner cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, and operations to align initiatives and ensure a seamless client experience. Maintain visual and operational standards across the showroom, always ensuring a best-in-class presentation. Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and competitive shifts to inform sales strategy. Manage department scheduling and administrative duties effectively and efficiently. Champion and act as an ambassador for the brand, modeling professionalism, passion, and commitment to excellence in every client interaction.

Who You Are



A proven sales leader with

3-5+ years of experience managing sales teams

in a retail or luxury goods environment. Experienced in

direct sales

, with a strong understanding of the

home decor, design, or luxury retail industry.

Influential, engaging, and able to motivate teams through a

hands-on, servant leadership approach.

Goal-oriented and business-driven

, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and profitability objectives. Highly organized and strategic, capable of

prioritizing multiple projects

while maintaining attention to detail. Skilled in

problem-solving and decision-making

, able to break down complex challenges into clear, actionable steps. An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Adaptable to change and proactive in leading teams through periods of transition or growth. Proficient in

CRM and point-of-sale systems

(Salesforce and Storis experience preferred). Known for integrity, accountability, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
