Position: Sales Director - National Accounts
Location: Remote - Canada, ideally GTA - with periodic national travel
Base Salary: $140,000-$160,000 based on experience + annual bonus

Our client is a well-established, service-driven organization in security solutions, seeking a Sales Director - National Accounts to lead the Canadian sales organization and strengthen national customer engagement across key verticals.
This role is fully remote within Canada, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Greater Toronto Area due to proximity to national clients. Montreal or Ottawa may also be considered.
Why This Role Matters:
The organization has strong brand recognition and a solid customer base, with double-digit growth across several segments. However, there is a need for greater sales leadership discipline-particularly in pipeline management, accountability, and executive-level client engagement. This is not an individual contributor role.
Approximately 70-80% of this position is leadership, focused on:
- Elevating sales management capability
- Embedding consistent pipeline and forecast discipline
- Strengthening national C-suite sales engagement
- Developing, coaching, and empowering the team to win
Your mandate is to build a stronger national sales engine and drive a culture of ownership, accountability, and execution.
What You Will Lead:
- You will oversee the national sales organization.
- Depending on experience, you may assume leadership of more than one business unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Develop and execute the national sales strategy to meet growth, profitability, and market penetration objectives
- Partner with the executive team to prioritize target accounts and expand strategic relationships across Canada
Sales Execution & Pipeline Leadership
- Instill strong pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and accountability
- Lead structured, qualitative pipeline reviews with sales leadership and the field team
- Elevate executive-level customer engagement and relationship mapping
Team Development & Coaching
- Mentor and develop sales leaders to drive performance and ownership
- Build a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, customer excellence, and consistent execution
Client & Market Engagement
- Represent the organization with key national accounts at C-suite and executive committee levels
- Strengthen the company's value proposition, emphasizing service excellence and long-term partnership
What You Bring:
- Experience leading national-level sales in a Director or Senior Sales Manager capacity
- Proven success building, coaching, and scaling high-performing sales teams
- Background in the security industry such as secure infrastructure, technical services, facility services, or other service-based B2B environments (e.g., HVAC services, fire protection, facilities services, technical field services)
- Ability to influence at the executive level and manage complex strategic accounts
- Strong command of pipeline leadership, sales process discipline, and performance management
- Proficiency with CRM platforms
- Ability to travel across Canada as some travel may be required
Nice to Have:
- Based in the Greater Toronto Area (strongly preferred)
- Montreal or Ottawa considered as secondary locations
