Position Objective





The Sales Development Manager, Asphalt Paving will drive GreenMantra's growth in the U.S. paving market by expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and accelerating adoption of our polymer additive technologies. This hands-on, field-focused role identifies new opportunities, develops strategic partnerships, and provides both technical and commercial support to customers while collaborating closely with marketing, technical, and operations teams. Frequent travel across North America is required to support customer and industry engagement.



In the first year, you'll help shape GreenMantra's U.S. market presence, leading go-to-market efforts, building relationships, and launching early projects that highlight the performance and value of our solutions. Over time, you'll expand our reach, strengthen partnerships, and help position GreenMantra as a trusted leader in sustainable asphalt innovation.


As a team member, you can expect to:




Drive Market Expansion


Develop and execute a multi-year go-to-market strategy to deliver revenue and profit growth. Identify high-potential markets, customer segments, and distribution channels to accelerate adoption. Build visibility through active involvement in trade associations and local industry networks (e.g., APA, AGC).



Develop and Manage Customer Relationships


Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with contractors, municipalities, asphalt producers, and distributors. Lead the customer journey from initial contact through implementation and post-sale support, serving as a trusted advisor. Monitor economic and market trends to anticipate customer needs and opportunities.



Lead Business Development Activities


Pursue new business through proactive outreach, industry networking, and referrals. Prepare and manage forecasts, pipelines, and account plans using Salesforce. Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns, represent GreenMantra at trade shows, and promote the environmental and performance benefits of polymer-modified asphalt solutions.



Provide Technical and Application Support


Partner with technical and operations teams to deliver presentations, demonstrations, and on-site product support. Support customers in mix design optimization, product selection, and performance evaluation. Resolve basic technical inquiries and relay customer insights to inform innovation and R&D.



What we're looking for:




Education: Degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5-8 years of proven success in sales within the construction, asphalt, aggregates, admixtures, or pavement maintenance markets. Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of paving market dynamics, supply chain structures, and customer needs. Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation abilities across technical and commercial audiences. Technical Proficiency: Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and demonstrated ability to build compelling presentations and proposals; proficient use of Salesforce CRM for pipeline management. Sales Approach: Skilled in consultative, field-based sales and comfortable representing the company at industry events and customer sites. Organization & Drive: Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed, able to manage multiple priorities independently. Collaboration & Integrity: Builds trust and credibility with contractors, municipalities, corporations, and distributors. Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and passport, with willingness to travel up to 60% within the U.S. and occasionally in Canada.
