FORD Salon is Kelowna's premier luxury hair destination. With our brand-new flagship location -- a 2,500 sq. ft. space dedicated to world-class hair artistry, exclusive product partnerships, and elevated guest care.

We are seeking a dynamic

Sales Desk & Salon Manager

to lead our front-of-house operations and support the overall success of our team. This will be a hybrid role, combining exceptional client service at the sales desk with operational management to ensure the salon runs seamlessly.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. As the Salon Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and drive sales while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

Responsibilities



Lead and supervise salon staff, ensuring high-quality service delivery and adherence to salon policies. Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring every client feels valued. Support and motivate the team to uphold salon standards and service excellence. Assist in scheduling, inventory management, and team communication Collaborate with ownership to execute promotions, events, and client engagement strategies. Utilize POS systems for efficient transaction processing and cash handling. Develop marketing initiatives to promote salon services and increase clientele. Maintain inventory levels through effective purchasing practices while ensuring optimal pricing strategies. Foster strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills and exceptional service. Monitor KPIs, including retail performance, client retention, and service targets.

Experience


The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in retail management or salon management with a strong focus on sales management. Supervising experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities in team management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Tech-savvy, with comfort using booking and POS systems (experience with VISH, Meevo, or similar platforms is considered an asset). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. A solid understanding of merchandising principles, pricing strategies, and marketing techniques. Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proactive problem-solving approach. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is essential. Passion for the beauty industry and delivering outstanding client experiences.

Pay: $27.50-$32.50 per hour
