JOB SUMMARY



Reporting to the Supply Chain Director, as a Sales Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and integrating customer forecasts to support purchasing and operations planning. Using specialized tools like Forecast Pro and Excel, you will transform data into reliable forecasts, identify discrepancies, collaborate with sales and marketing, and contribute to continuous process improvement. This key role requires thoroughness, autonomy, organizational skills and a strong interest in data analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Collecting Customer Forecasts:

Collect and consolidate customer forecasts from various portals and multiple formats.

Data Analysis

: Transform and integrate data using Excel and Forecast Pro software.

Forecasting:

Generate forecasts for more than 3,000 products spread across multiple warehouses.

ERP Integration

: Push validated forecasts into the ERP system (Epicor) to trigger purchase orders.

Variance Monitoring

: Flag and investigate major forecast variances (too high/too low) and collaborate with the sales team to analyze them.

Performance Monitoring

: Monitor forecast accuracy and follow up on gaps with customers and sales.

Trend Analysis

: Analyze sales trends to detect drops in product demand, substitutions, or growth opportunities.

Strategic alignment

: Ensure that forecasts reflect actual market demand.

Reporting

: Produce sales and key performance indicators (KPIs) reports for key products, logistics, and the supply chain.

Inter-team collaboration

: Lead monthly forecast review meetings with the purchasing and marketing teams.

Parameter Revision:

Conduct quarterly reviews of MIN/MAX parameters for inventory planning.

Continuous improvement:

Participate in the optimization of analysis tools, processes and practices. Perform any other analysis requested by supply chain department or sales teams.

REQUIREMENTS, QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED



Education:

AEC in data analysis, business intelligence, supply chain management or related field. Any combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data extraction and analysis from an ERP system.

Language skills:

Fluency in French and English, both oral and written.

Computer skills:



Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex searches, pivot tables, Power Query, etc.). Comfortable working with an ERP system. Knowledge of Power BI - Asset.

Thoroughness and attention to detail; Analytical skills; Autonomy; Ability to synthesize, interpret data and clearly communicate results. Organizational skills and priority management; Good understanding of business processes (sales, inventory, logistics); Flexibility to respond to changing business needs; Ability to quickly assimilate new information; Communication skills to work with stakeholders.
