Under the supervision of the Director of Sales, the Sales Coordinator's main function is to assist the sales department.

Job description:

• Promote and sell the hotel's products and services within the designated market;
• Enter group reservations in the system (leisure and congress groups);
• Draft group contracts, conditions, list of arrivals, meals, meeting space and baggage handling and follow-up with the relevant department;
• Prepare list of arrivals for current week;
• Follow-up with clients and resolve issues;
• Coordinate (responses, reservations, etc) of emails received at the main hotel email address;
• Ensure that the reservation department has all the rates and contracts related to different market segments and different promotional rates;
• Perform administrative tasks (emails, inventory, order office supplies, etc);
• Responsible for couriers (lost items by a client in a room or other courier);
• Responsible for the inventory of promotional products required for the sales department;
• Assist the General Manager;
• Assist the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Education:

• D.E.C. (Diploma of College Studies) - Essential
• Bachelors (Undergraduate degree) - Asset
