The Role
The Sales Coordinator is accountable for liaising between our customers and our internal teams to facilitate the accurate, timely and efficient manufacture and delivery of bulk and packaged product orders. They will utilize relevant data to anticipate requirements and leverage our manufacturing, warehousing and logistics systems to create happy customers.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Act as the primary customer contact for all bulk and packaged product orders and deliveries; coordinating them in a timely and accurate manner (internally and toll-manufactured)
Utilize systems, tools and data to anticipate order patterns and fulfill them in an accurate and efficient manner
Communicate proactively with customers and consultants to keep them apprised of delivery timelines
Actively participate in a cross-functional team approach through open communication and effective transfer of knowledge and expertise
Support regulatory compliance and quality initiatives; assist with customer feedback investigation and timely closeout
Utilize documented best practices and work instructions
Use collaborative methodology to anticipate, identify and resolve order-related process issues and inefficiencies and suggest improvements
Continuously expand technical knowledge of software, systems and processes
Participate in team member onboarding and training for related systems and tools to ensure they are set up for success
Attend and actively participate in L10's and stakeholder meetings
Other duties as required and assigned
Skills & Experience Required

General understanding of manufacturing and accounting system transactional flow, e.g. inventory, transfers, purchase and sales orders and invoicing
Display honesty, integrity, and a strong sense of ethics in all decisions and actions
Qualifications include
2 or more years' experience in an agriculture-related, feed manufacturing or supply chain role preferred
General understanding of the agriculture and livestock production industries preferred
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, accounting software experience considered a benefit
