Job Description

United GMP is seeking a Sales Consultant on a contract basis to effectively identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients seeking contract manufacturing services.

Job Functions



Actively search for new business opportunities by identifying companies requiring contract manufacturing services through market research, networking and industry events. Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients to thoroughly understand their product specifications, production volumes, quality standards and delivery timelines. Prepare detailed proposals outlining UPMG's contract manufacturing capabilities, pricing structure, project timeline and value proposition tailored to each clients' needs. Conduct presentations to prospective clients highlighting UGMP's expertise in contract manufacturing and effectively be able to address any concerns. Negotiate contract terms alongside the Managing Director, including pricing, payment schedules, delivery dates, quality control measures, etc. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity to identify potential new market opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly. Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction with the ongoing manufacturing process, addressing any issues promptly, and identifying potential upselling opportunities.

Education and Experience



Post-secondary diploma or degree in business or marketing. 5+ years sales experience in the Contract Manufacturing industry or equivalent experience (Required) Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control standards relevant to UGMP's expertise. Proven track record of successful sales experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in contract manufacturing. Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to effectively communicate technical information. Confidence in negotiating contracts and achieving mutually beneficial agreements. Excellent time management skills/ ability to manage the oversight of multiple client projects concurrently (Required) Ability to contribute effectively in a cross-functional team setting and to build effective relationships with team and customers Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to speak French considered an asset.
