Our team continues to grow, and we are currently seeking a Sales Consultant to join our team. You do not need vehicle sales experience for this opportunity . We are committed to providing all training needed for this role. The Opportunity:
The Sales Consultant at Canso Ford manages all aspects of the New or Used vehicle sales process. Our customers can count on our Sales Consultants to support them through the full process of purchasing their vehicle, knowing that integrity and customer satisfaction are always top of mind.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Using your top-notch communication skills to ensure all customers feel welcome, understood, informed and valued.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of Canso Ford's current offerings, products, accessories, prices and how those align to each customer's specific needs.
• Communicating options clearly to assist customers in finding their perfect match.
• Keeping up to date with products, accessories, prices, and key features of major competitors.
• Maintaining contact with customers through phone, text and email to ensure continued satisfaction and building a brand-loyal customer base.
• Maintaining detailed records of all interactions with customers using Serti to ensure an organized and accurate buying process.
• Handling all customer inquiries and concerns promptly and with a genuine intent to resolve problems or issues.
• Making prospecting calls and follow-up with customers within specific time-frames.
About You
• You have outstanding interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude. You love to work with people, and it shows!
• You posses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in retail is considered a strong asset, especially any experience in Automotive sales.- but this is not required. We are willing to train and develop candidates who have the right soft-skills and motivation.
• You are able to be flexible and adaptable since customer and business needs can change and differ. You're able to work evening or weekend shifts as needed.
• You have a keen eye for detail and organization so you can document customer needs and maintain a smooth sales process.
• You are a motivated problem solver and can manage and resolve customer issues and complaints promptly.
• You have great computer skills and are an experienced user of Microsoft Office.
• You have completed post-secondary education. Business-related courses would be preferred.
• You have a valid Drivers License
