Bath Fitter Winnipeg is seeking a very reliable, organized and motivated individual to join our estimating/sales team. The appropriate candidate must be personable and enjoy working with the public. A reliable vehicle and a cell phone will be required for the position. Successful applicant will view this commission-based position as a long-term career opportunity.
Duties
Conduct in-home sales appointments, within Winnipeg and surrounding areas, up to 100kms from the city limits
Daily hours can vary, but may include mornings, afternoons and early evenings as required by the clientele
Daily office hours to pick up scheduling, finalize paperwork and assist clients with showroom visitations
Some Saturdays required on an alternating schedule, including a combination of some Showroom shifts and some estimation appointments
Bi-yearly trade show appearances, meet and greet the public to showcase products and services
The ability to measure bathrooms and translate measurements to paper, appropriately price quote as per provided Bath Fitter fee structure
Writing and printing must be tidy and legible, with ability to clearly communicate and convey ideas
Provide ongoing client care throughout the quoting and installation process, in person, via email and through phone support
Physical mobility is required, including but not limited to: stair climbing, crouching, bending, twisting, leaning, walking, and transporting sample materials in a backpack of approximately 25-30 pounds
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales or Customer Service positions
Must have a Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
Comfortable with city and highway driving, and the use of Google maps to navigate
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the construction or related industries such as interior design.
Basic knowledge of construction estimating processes and tools, including the ability to competently use a tape measure, using Imperial measurements ie: inches, with the ability to add and subtract fractions as required.
Demonstrated competence in client care and communication, strong personal ethics and professionalism
Excellent use of interpersonal skills, relationship-building
Proficient in grammatically correct English, both verbal and written.
Competence in general computer skills and organization including use of a digital camera, photo file transfer, folder creation and email, including attachments.
Proven ability to work as part of a team, a supportive and considerate colleague
