Job Summary:





The Sales Consultant solicits and secures new clients for linen, workwear industrial uniforms and facility services, sells and promotes approved, targeted products and services within a designated sales territory. Reports to the Regional Sales Manager and works closely with the General Manager.

Essential Functions:




Solicit and secure new clients, sell and promote all approved lines of service or product within a designated sales territory Continually meet or exceed sales quotas and expectations. Proactively identify, solicit and motivate targeted prospects using a variety of methods such as cold-calling, lead qualifying, presenting proposals and sales funnel management. Maintain sales records and accurately fill out new client paperwork. Actively participate in promotions, contests, meetings and training. Follow company sales policies and procedures, including price/product guidelines and new installation procedures. Present a professional image. Build relationships, communicate openly, educate customers, manage customer needs and proactively work with other departments to smoothly transition a new customer. Safely operate a vehicle on each trip, following all applicable laws and company policy. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure regular vehicle maintenance. Attend/work trade shows and marketing events as required. Monitor and report competitive activity. Follow written and verbal instructions. Perform other tasks as directed by supervision.


Additional Functions:


May work with and support other sales personnel or functions as required by supervision.

Requirements Qualifications:




Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French, ability to comprehend and follow direction, as well as strong time management skills. Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office. Have and maintain a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record free of chargeable accidents, speeding, safety or other violations. Recognize colors, sizes and types of product. Count, add and subtract accurately. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work successfully in a team environment.


Education/Experience:


College degree preferred or two years sales experience.


Compensation:


$120,000 to $150,000 per year between base salary and commission pay. Monthly car allowance provided for driving within your territory. Excellent benefit package.


Typical Physical Activity:




Physical Demands/Requirements consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, driving, grasping, moving equipment, pushing, pulling, reading, speaking, hearing, and lifting up to 30 lbs.


Typical Environmental Conditions:


Vehicles on public roads, inside general offices, customer locations, areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, Service Center or depot.


Travel Requirements:


Daily, driving by vehicle within a designated sales territory.

Le conseiller aux ventes de produits sollicite et obtient de nouveaux clients pour le linge, les uniformes et les services aux installations, vend et fait la promotion de produits et services approuves et cibles dans un territoire de vente designe.



Fonctions principales :



- Sollicite et obtient de nouveaux clients, vend et promeut tous les produits ou services approuves dans un territoire de vente designe.


- Respecte ou depasse continuellement les quotas et les attentes de vente.

- Identifie, sollicite et motive de facon proactive les clients potentiels cibles a l'aide de diverses methodes comme la sollicitation a froid, la qualification des clients potentiels, la presentation de propositions et la gestion de la prospection. Tient a jour les registres des ventes et remplit correctement les documents des nouveaux clients.

- Participe activement aux promotions, aux concours, aux reunions et a la formation.

- Suit les politiques et procedures de vente de l'entreprise, y compris les directives sur les prix et les produits, et les nouvelles procedures d'installation.

- Presente une image professionnelle. Etabli des relations, communique ouvertement, eduque les clients, gere les besoins des clients et travaille de facon proactive avec les autres services pour assurer une transition harmonieuse pour un nouveau client.

- Conduit un vehicule de facon securitaire, en respectant toutes les lois et les politiques de l'entreprise applicables. Garde le vehicule propre et s'assure de l'entretien regulier de celui-ci.

- Assiste/participe aux salons professionnels et aux evenements de marketing, au besoin.

- Surveille et signale les activites de la concurrence.

Suit les instructions ecrites et verbales. Effectue d'autres taches selon les directives de la supervision.


Fonctions additionnelles :

- Peut travailler avec d'autres membres du personnel de vente de la succursale et les soutenir selon les exigences de la supervision.


Exigences et qualifications :





- Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication orale et ecrite en anglais et francais, capacite a comprendre et a suivre les directives, ainsi que d'excellentes aptitudes pour la gestion du temps.

- Excellentes competences informatiques avec Microsoft Office.

- Detient un permis de conduire valide et conserve un dossier de conduite exempt d'accidents, d'exces de vitesse, de securite ou d'autres infractions.

- Reconnait les couleurs, les tailles et les types de produits. Compte, additionne et soustrait avec precision.

- Excellentes aptitudes pour les relations interpersonnelles et capacite a travailler efficacement en equipe.



Education/Experience :



-- Diplome d'etudes collegiales privilegie ou deux ans d'experience en vente.



Remuneration

:




120 000 $ a 150 000 $ par annee entre le salaire de base et la commission. Allocation mensuelle de voiture prevue pour circuler sur votre territoire. Excellent ensemble d'avantages sociaux.

- Vehicules sur les routes publiques, a l'interieur des bureaux, dans les locaux des clients, dans les zones d'une installation de buanderie industrielle typique, dans un centre de service ou un depot.
