About the Role
We are seeking a
Sales & Business Development professional
to help expand our reach and strengthen client relationships. This role is about more than closing deals-it's about building trust, representing our brand with integrity, and creating opportunities for Oaken Builders to continue delivering meaningful projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and motivated to grow with a company that values professionalism, accountability, and the use of their God given talents to make a positive impact.
What You'll Do
Develop and execute strategies to identify new clients and business opportunities
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, partners, and the community
Represent Oaken Builders at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings
Collaborate with leadership and project managers to ensure alignment between sales commitments and project delivery
Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and follow-ups to prospective clients
Support marketing efforts, contributing ideas to strengthen Oaken's brand visibility
Track and report on sales activities, goals, and outcomes to ensure progress against targets
What You Bring
Proven
3+ years
of experience in sales, business development, or client relations (construction or real estate experience is a strong asset)
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Self-driven, with the ability to manage leads, pipelines, and follow-through effectively
A relationship-builder with integrity, professionalism, and a client-first mindset
Comfortable representing the company in both formal and casual settings
Growth-oriented mindset, eager to help expand Oaken's reach in Manitoba to foster connection and trust
