Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction while managing various aspects of sales operations. This position requires a blend of customer service skills and operational knowledge, particularly in handling heavy equipment and logistics.

Duties

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selection. Operate heavy equipment as needed, including forklifts and reach trucks, to facilitate order fulfillment. Manage shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate packaging and documentation of products. Perform order picking duties, accurately selecting items for customer orders. Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and efficient sales floor. Assist in building displays and organizing merchandise for tradeshows Maintain compliance with safety protocols while operating equipment and handling products.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a shipping or logistics is preferred. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including packaging standards. Ability to perform order picking tasks efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines. Experience with inventory management systems is a plus. Strong physical capability to handle heavy lifting as required by the role. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.55-$25.27 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
