We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our team. A love to care for and help animals is a must. Knowledge of farming and caring for livestock is a plus. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing the cash register, carrying out feed bags for customers and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. Duties

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting with their inquiries. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for processing transactions. Handle cash transactions with precision, ensuring accurate cash handling and balancing of registers. Demonstrate products to customers and provide information on promotions or specials. Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area and store displays. Assist in stocking shelves and merchandising products effectively to attract customers. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support. Utilize effective phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries over the phone.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Physically able and pick up and carry 50lb bags Willing to take your veternatary vendor dispensary license (will work towards after hire) Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations. Experience with merchandising and stocking practices in a retail setting is a plus. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Familiarity with product demonstrations and upselling techniques is beneficial. A positive attitude towards customer service and a willingness to learn. Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
