Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier/Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling transactions, assisting with product demonstrations, and promoting sales. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will contribute to an engaging shopping experience for our customers.

Duties

Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Assist in merchandising products to enhance store displays and promote sales. Conduct product demos and provide technical sales support to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Upsell products and services to increase overall sales performance. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area while ensuring all cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance the overall shopping experience.

Skills

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers. Experience in retail sales is highly desirable. Proficiency in cashiering, including cash handling and basic math skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone. Ability to perform merchandising tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
