Position Summary: As a Sales Associate/Key Holder at Avenue Cannabis Retail, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and informative environment for our customers. We seek individuals who are committed to professionalism and dedicated to fostering a positive experience for every customer.

We are hiring for an employee to work Thursday-Sunday Evenings with the possibility of picking up additional shifts in the week.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with customers to understand their needs and educate them on responsible cannabis use. Provide accurate product information through continuous learning. Convert customer inquiries into sales using tablets for order processing. Cultivate, grow, and retain our customer base by delivering an exemplary customer experience. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and process transactions. Adhere to and enforce guidelines as required by industry regulations. Open or close the store according to the schedule, ensuring the premises are clean, safe, and organized before and after operational hours. Assist with inventory management and audits to ensure accurate stock levels and compliance. Perform catalogue data entry to maintain up-to-date product listings. Utilize Greenline or Cova POS systems, including dashboards and various functionalities, to streamline operations.
Requirements:

Minimum age of 19 years. 1+ year of experience in a similar role within cannabis retail, with extensive customer-facing interactions. Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Comfortable being alone in and closing the store at night. Ability to diplomatically and professionally interact with customers at all times. Provincial Certification (Selling it Right Certificate - BC). Pre-employment Criminal Record Check. Current Police Background Check.
Shift and Schedule:

6-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts Morning, afternoon, evening, and night shifts Weekends and holidays required
