As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and promoting our products effectively.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively sell and upsell items. Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments. Utilize basic math skills to calculate totals and provide change accurately. Manage time effectively to ensure all customer needs are met promptly while maintaining store organization. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall customer experience. Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided as necessary. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to selling and promoting products, with an eagerness to learn about technical sales if applicable. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
