Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs. Conduct product demonstrations to engage customers and promote new items. Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems. Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Assist with inventory management by restocking items as needed. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the store. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and change distribution.

Experience

Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred but not required. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse customer base. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and phone etiquette is advantageous. Ability to perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management. A proactive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within a retail setting.
