Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for technology and product demonstrations, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with customers, showcasing products, and driving sales through effective merchandising and upselling techniques. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve a diverse clientele and enhance the shopping experience.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of various items, especially in technology sales Provide knowledgeable advice on product specifications, usage, and compatibility Engage in retail sales activities, including upselling and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, cash handling, and receipts Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure products are well-stocked and attractive Handle cashiering duties with professionalism, including processing payments via POS systems Offer excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction Manage time effectively to assist multiple customers during busy periods Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via online channels Support store organization through merchandising tasks and inventory management

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales or customer service preferred; experience in technology or product demos is a plus Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish) are highly desirable Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills for transactions Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management Ability to perform product demonstrations confidently and clearly explain technical features Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts Professional phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone or online inquiries Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
