Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to engage customers and promote our products effectively. As a Sales Associate, you will create a welcoming environment and assist customers with their pool and hot tub needs, including booking service, chemicals and conducting water testing.

Summer Hours:

Monday to Friday: 10 AM - 5 PM

Saturday: 10 AM - 2 PM

Sundays and Statutory Holidays: Closed

This is a seasonal position, and the contract length will vary for each individual, to be determined at the time of hiring.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Test the water for pools or hot tubs and provide the customer with instructions for treatment. (Training will be provided.) Offer product information and educate customers on their proper usage. Process transactions accurately. Respond to customer inquiries in person, via phone, and through email. Scheduling service Keep the sales floor organized, stocked, and visually appealing. Assist in inventory management including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts. Assist in maintaining a clean environment and work area for the main storefront, kitchen area, and washrooms.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Skilled in utilizing computer systems for processing sales transactions and scheduling service. Ability to demonstrate products effectively to customers. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.5 per week
