Sun Country is a family-owned Canadian business specializing in outdoor furniture and accessories. Over our history of 60+ years we have developed amazing relationships with our customers and team mates.

This job is a front line, in-store position selling directly to our retail customers at our Burlington location. Responsibilities include determining customers' needs, showing the value of our products and helping the customer select and customize their products. Other duties would include customer follow up, delivery scheduling and general maintenance of showroom. The ability to do minor furniture assembly would be an asset. These positions are commission based with starting salary of $18/hour.

Commissions can range from an additional $4-10+/hour based on volume of sales.



This job can start immediately or as soon as possible. This could be a good opportunity for a post secondary student or someone looking for seasonal work.

Daytime shifts - Weekends required



We have one position available for the 2025 season!

Full-time (35-40 hours per week) until September

Job Requirements



This is a seasonal/summer position - weekends are required

Relevant retail experience is required

Ability to learn a large amount of product knowledge to better assist customers.

Ability to learn a complex POS system.

Basic computer and math skills.

Organizational and time management skills.

A customer service attitude.

Ability to work with a team.

Willingness to learn and try new ideas.

Experience with basic hand tools and assembly work is an asset.

Ability to handle a fast paced work environment as well as some slow times.

Summary



As a Seasonal Sales Associate, you will be integral to delivering outstanding customer service and driving sales in a retail environment. Your core skills in POS operation, cash handling, and effective communication will enable you to assist customers efficiently and accurately. You will also utilize your time management and organizational skills to maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing sales floor. With the potential to leverage premium skills in merchandising and product demonstrations, you will enhance the shopping experience while contributing to the overall success of our team during peak seasons.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
