We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our team at Global Pet Foods- Kingston Road. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pets, customer service and a drive to achieve sales goals. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience, assisting customers with their needs, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Duties

Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and support throughout their shopping experience. Assist customers in selecting products and provide recommendations to meet the needs of their pets Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures are followed. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by restocking merchandise, organizing displays, and ensuring cleanliness. Process transactions efficiently while utilizing basic math skills for accurate cash handling. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and contribute to a positive team environment. Stay informed about product features, promotions, and store policies to effectively assist customers.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
