Position Summary
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Part Time Sales Associate is responsible for all inside sales duties including mixing paint, stocking shelves and answer customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains a safe working environment by following Yvon's health and safety guidelines.
Formulate and blend paint, stains, and coatings to precise specifications and formulas, ensuring colour accuracy and consistency.
Manage and maintain organization of inventory shelves including paint swatches.
Screening and prioritizing incoming customer calls.
Assist customers in the store, providing exceptional personalized service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Completes sales orders in Business Central.
Assists with month end statements.
Assists with general administrative duties including filing.
Perform routine cleaning of all shelving, display units, windows, including sweeping and washing the floors.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Experience
Less than one year experience in a similar role
Skills and Abilities
Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.
Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
Ability to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
Ability to multitask and work independently with little supervision.
Ability to effectively build relationships with both internal and external customers.
Strong "customer service" mindset.
