Sales Associate
Job Description
Canadian Tire Lethbridge North is currently hiring sales associates to work approximately 20-30 hours per week. All candidates must be available to work during all store hours. Store hours are 8am-9pm Monday through Friday, 8am-8pm Saturdays, and 9am-7pm Sundays.
The Sales Associate team member works in a fast-paced environment that involves constant interaction with customers, delivering friendly and courteous service while explaining product benefits and fulfilling customer needs. This role also involves store maintenance such as stocking shelves, merchandising and general housekeeping.
Responsibilities Include:
Meet, greet and thank customers and provide friendly, informed service to them.
Guide customers to the location of products.
Suggest value-added and related products.
Stock shelves and display areas.
Keep stock clean, faced and orderly.
Completes other tasks, as required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Provide professional customer service and employee support.
Work in a team environment to achieve common goals.
Maintain composure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Complete tasks according to instructions and demonstrate responsibility for outcomes.

Punctuality and reliability.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Standing/walking for 8 hours.
Lifting and/or carrying of merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassisted basis. Merchandise item may vary in weight from "light" to "heavy".
Lifting and turning repeatedly throughout the shift.
Lifting above the shoulder, from floor to shoulder and floor to waist
.
Ability to go up and down a ladder while carrying merchandise.
Walking and carrying things at the same time and pushing/pulling, as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00 per hour
