Sales Associate & Kitchen Support

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales

Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service Assist customers with product selection, questions, and recommendations Operate point?of?sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently Handle cash, debit, and credit transactions Maintain a clean, organized, and well?stocked sales floor Restock shelves, coolers, and freezers as needed Assist with merchandising and seasonal displays

Kitchen & Food Support

Assist the chef with

minor food preparation

, such as chopping, portioning, labeling, and packaging Help prepare baked goods, ready?to?eat meals, and market items as directed Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment and work areas Support inventory rotation (FIFO) and proper food storage

General Duties

Receive and help unload deliveries Monitor product freshness and report shortages or quality concerns Follow health and safety regulations Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications & Skills

Previous retail, grocery, cafe, or food service experience is an asset (not required) Basic food handling or willingness to obtain food safety certification Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast?paced environment Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs Reliable, punctual, and team?oriented

Schedule

A variety of shifts Tuesday- Saturday
