Albern Coins & Foreign Exchange is hiring a

full-time Sales Associate

to work at our main service window, assisting customers with

foreign exchange, bullion, and high-value transactions

.

This role is best suited for someone who is

accurate, composed, and process-driven

, and who takes responsibility seriously. The work is fast-paced, customer-facing, and detail-sensitive.

Hours

Monday to Friday:

9:15 AM - 5:00 PM

Alternating Saturdays:

10:45 AM - 4:00 PM

Reliability and punctuality are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Assist customers with foreign exchange and bullion transactions Accurately handle

cash, debit, and credit

transactions Maintain precise records and follow established procedures Provide clear, professional customer service in a busy environment Learn and assist with purchasing precious metals, jewelry, and collectibles

through structured training and defined approval processes

Address customer questions and concerns calmly and professionally Maintain a clean, secure, and organized workspace

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in

customer service, financial services, retail, or regulated environments

Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers Ability to stay focused and accurate under pressure

Computer skills at a high beginner to intermediate level

(POS systems, data entry, email, basic spreadsheets) Professional communication skills Ability to follow procedures consistently and without shortcuts

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to

50 lbs

Assets (Not Required)

Experience handling cash or financial transactions Exposure to banking, credit unions, or regulated retail environments Knowledge of precious metals, collectibles, or jewelry (training provided)

Access to reliable transportation / a vehicle
