Montblanc will be present in Holt Renfrew Calgary through a temporary shop concept during the holiday season 2025. We are seeking a Sales & Merchandising Associate to support this initiative, ensuring both outstanding client experiences and refined product presentation.
This is a temporary contract starting the 3rd week of October 2025 and running through the first week of January 2026, with potential for renewal when a permanent Montblanc location is confirmed in Calgary.
Key Responsibilities
Client Experience & Sales.
Deliver a warm, memorable Montblanc experience to every client.
Quickly learn Montblanc's product universe to provide tailored and inspiring recommendations.
Establish trust with clients in a short timeframe, leaving a positive and lasting impression of Montblanc.
Achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
Merchandise & Shop Presentation
Receive, verify, and organize incoming merchandise according to procedures.
Implement the brand's visual merchandising guidelines to reflect its standards.
Ensure the shop space remains elegant, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Reporting & Communication
Provide detailed daily sales and activity reporting directly to the operator.
Communicate proactively on client feedback, stock levels, and operational needs.
Collaborate with Holt Renfrew staff for smooth integration and a seamless client journey.
Adaptability & Initiative
Adapt quickly to different situations, from handling high client traffic to operational problem-solving.
Show initiative in anticipating client needs and proposing improvements to the shop's operations.
Represent Montblanc as a brand ambassador with professionalism and independence.
Your Profile
Previous retail sales experience, ideally in luxury goods (watches, jewelry, or premium accessories).
A fast learner, eager to absorb training on Montblanc products and Holt Renfrew operational procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to connect quickly and inspire client confidence.
Polished appearance and professional demeanor.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic retail environment while maintaining composure and precision.
Comfortable with physical tasks: standing for extended periods, handling products, moving stock.
Proficiency with digital tools (POS systems, Windows, online applications).
Availability to work during the entire contract period, including peak holiday hours.
Represent Montblanc during a high-profile holiday season in Calgary.
