Position Overview

We're seeking an

experienced Auto Sales & Consignment Assistant

to join our team on a

3-month probationary contract

, with the potential to transition to a

full-time permanent role

based on performance.

Your mission is to

convert inquiries into test drives and sales

, manage consignment opportunities, and ensure every customer leaves with confidence and satisfaction. You'll be the main link between online leads, walk-in traffic, and dealership operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Lead Conversion

Respond quickly to all customer leads via Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, phone, and email. Schedule test drives, handle negotiations, and close sales. Maintain consistent follow-ups to maximize conversion.

Customer Experience

Welcome walk-in clients, assist with vehicle viewing and test drives. Manage paperwork, explain financing or consignment options clearly. Encourage satisfied customers to leave Google Reviews.

Consignment & Trade-Ins

Identify and assist customers interested in selling or trading vehicles. Prepare and track APA Consignment Agreements and updates.

Reporting & Coordination

Maintain sales tracker and report results weekly. Coordinate with operations and accounting for car readiness and payments.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience

in

automotive sales or dealership operations

(required). Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales goals. Strong communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills. Organized, tech-savvy, and proactive. Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean record.

Performance-Based Growth

Initial

3-month probationary period

Compensation & Schedule

Full-time hours (Tuesday-Saturday). Hourly base pay + commissions + performance bonuses. Paid training and mentorship provided during probation.

Pay: $16.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
