Job Description
Our client, a growing home fashions importer, is looking for an experienced sales assistant to join their team. They are located in the TMR area - easy access to De La Savane Metro.

- Customer service, complete customer specification forms, communicate with buyers
- Process PO\'s, provide order status reports, follow up
- Work closely with different departments
- Customer service follow up (email, phone)
- Complete customer product specification forms, correspond with buyers by email and phone
- Process PO\'s (North America, International)
- Provide order status shipping reports, follow up
- Work with accounting department to obtain customer order credit approvals
- Send out customer samples and photos
- Request freight rate through traffic department
- Process customer claims
- Send copies of Bill of Ladings and Proof of deliveries to customers
- Create special customer sales reports, inventory reports (using SAP, Excel and Word)
- Handle special customer orders, quotes and order details
- Assist with trade show preparation and set up
- 2-3 years previous experience as a Sales Assistant
- Detail oriented, organized, efficient
- Able to work in a fast paced work environment
