We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Assistant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in outside and inside sales, manage client accounts, and contribute to business development efforts across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, experience with CRM software such as HubSpot, and a passion for building lasting customer relationships. As a key member of our sales team, you will support territory management, lead generation, and product demonstrations to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies for B2B sales, territory management, and account management to meet sales targets.
Conduct cold calling and lead generation activities to identify new business opportunities.
Present product demos and technical solutions to prospective clients, showcasing features and benefits effectively.
Manage customer relationships through excellent customer service, upselling, and ongoing account support.
Engage in direct sales efforts through retail or field visits, fostering strong client partnerships.
Utilize CRM software such as HubSpot to track sales activities, manage pipeline, and analyze sales data for strategic planning.
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with marketing teams on campaigns to enhance brand awareness and generate new leads.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
Support and assist 6 Sales Representatives by making calls to prospective clients, updating HubSpot with the appropriate notes, coordinating client meetings with Sales Reps, taking care of tasks for the Sales Reps by collaborating with Design, Project Management and the Factory and keeping the Sales Rep informed about their clients so the Sales Rep can focus on Revenue Generating Activities at all times.
Support Management by communicating and collaborating between all departments and assisting with putting presentations together for Management Meetings.
Responsible for the Model Home, including cleanliness (We have cleaners), maintenance (Calling in repairs), Furniture, Landscaping, Snow Removal (We have a company for this) you would simply be facilitating all of this to ensure the model is always show ready.
Taking customer calls and acting as the first line of customer service, communicating concerns to the appropriate people.
Collaborating with Marketing, on behalf of sales to ensure the sales teams has everything they require for upcoming trade shows, seminars and events.
Books hotels, flights, and other travel related items on behalf of the sales team and management.
Supports management with other duties as assigned.
Experience
Proven experience in outside sales, B2B & B2C sales, or technology sales with a focus on territory management or account management.
Strong background in management or business development roles preferred.
Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot or other CRM software is highly desirable.
Demonstrated success in lead generation, cold calling, upselling, and product demos.
Excellent negotiation skills combined with outstanding customer service abilities.
Experience in retail sales or technical sales environments is advantageous.
