Job Title:Sales and Application Engineer ( Only for Canadian Permanent residents)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales and Application Engineer to join our team in Mississauga. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering and a proven track record in sales. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work collaboratively with our engineering and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Development:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to clients.

- Achieve and exceed sales targets and objectives.

Application Engineering:

- Provide technical support and expertise to customers, ensuring they select the right products and solutions for their needs.

- Select and size pumps based on customer specifications and system requirements.

- Analyze and interpret centrifugal pump characteristics to determine the best fit for various applications.

- Utilize knowledge of pump terminology and system head calculations to design and recommend efficient pumping solutions.

- Collaborate with the engineering team to address customer requirements and ensure product specifications meet their needs.

- Conduct system analysis, including calculating Total Dynamic Head (TDH) and evaluating system curves.

- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' products.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering .

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and application engineering, preferably in the pump industry.

- Strong technical knowledge of pumps and related systems, including centrifugal pumps.

- Proficiency in pump selection software and tools.

- Excellent understanding of pump terminology and system head calculations.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
