Position Overview:





We are seeking a driven and customer-focused

Sales and Service Manager

to lead our sales team and oversee day-to-day customer service operations within our personalized magazine division -

By Design Publishing

. This role is responsible for achieving revenue targets, improving customer satisfaction, and building strong, lasting relationships with clients. The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can motivate a team, streamline processes, and deliver exceptional results.

This role is based onsite Monday to Friday at our Richmond, BC office. Candidates must be able to commute to our office or able to relocate in order to be considered.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales Leadership




Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets Lead, coach, and motivate sales representatives to exceed individual and team goals Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts



Service Management




Oversee customer service operations to ensure timely, effective, and professional support Establish and monitor KPIs related to customer satisfaction and service quality Resolve escalated client issues with a focus on long-term relationship management Implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and efficiency



Team Development




Recruit, train, and develop team members for long-term success Foster a positive, performance-driven culture focused on accountability and collaboration Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance reviews to direct reports (including remote team based in U.S.)



Cross-Functional Collaboration




Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with sales initiatives Partner with operations and product teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction Represent the voice of the customer in business strategy discussions



Required Experience and Skills:




5+ years of experience in sales and/or service leadership roles Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred Experience in subscription-based products/services is a strong asset Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets Strong customer service mindset with experience managing client relationships Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Data-driven decision-maker with strong problem-solving abilities Experience with CRM systems and sales/service tools



Compensation:





The expected base salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000 annually, depending on relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus.
