Overview of the Role & Team




The Sales and Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for providing ongoing support for agents, helping them with all inquiries and by ensuring a high-quality customer experience. Responsibilities also include planning and executing online and in-person events, such as campus tours at all ILAC Campuses in Toronto, open houses, and promotional activities for ILAC Night School and ILAC International High School in Toronto, as well as representing ILAC at local educational fairs. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, the ability to collaborate across multiple teams, and a proactive, customer-oriented mindset. Knowledge of the Canadian education landscape, pathways to post-secondary institutions, and administrative processes are highly desirable.

Responsibilities and Duties



Responds to telephone, WhatsApp messages, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from local agents. Ensures agents receive outstanding customer service experience. Provides information and delivers campus tours to onshore and overseas agents. Maintains positive business relationships with existing agencies and develops relationships with new agents and re-engages inactive agents. Coordinates the booking and arrival process with all key departments involved (GSS, Finance, Homestay) when needed. Works cooperatively with internal departments towards effective problem resolution. Supports the application process delivered by Global Sales Support and coordinates on new sales. Participates in planning and execution of sales and recruitment events that promote company programs, including online and in-person events such as open houses and agent events at ILAC locations. Continuously keeps agents informed about ILAC news, pricing, programs, and other developments (agent visits, WhatsApp channels, email, newsletter and webinars) Manages communications through WhatsApp, Mailchimp newsletters, webinars and other digital channels to maintain agent engagement. Assists in reporting and tracking agent sales activity. Provides training sessions to exciting new agents. Identifies opportunities for process improvements, agent satisfaction enhancements, and local market development.

Requirements



University or college degree in business or related field, or an appropriate combination of education and experience; 1-2 years of successful relevant experience, preferably in Education industry, Travel, and Sales; Excellent customer care and service excellence attitude; Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in one or more of the following languages - Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Vietnamese - is highly desirable Acts with ethics and integrity and demonstrates sound judgment and respect for the individual in all interactions with others; Works well in an unstructured and entrepreneurial environment where decisions and actions need to happen quickly and professionally; Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills; Ability to work effectively in a team and independently; Strong computer proficiency, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word; Mailchimp, WhatsApp, Zoom, Teams, Strong mathematical competence.
