Objectives:
Westcon Precast Inc. is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our team in St. Albert. The ideal candidate has knowledge of the construction industry, understanding of concrete, and experience in the sales process, lead management, and relationship building. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in marketing strategies to support business growth and enhance brand visibility.
Responsibilities:
• Develop new business opportunities, follow up on leads, and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop detailed sales plans that drive growth in specific markets and segments by evaluating customer needs, market conditions, and competitor analysis.
• Plan, organize, and execute day-to-day sales activities that exceed customer expectations.
• Conduct regular account reviews to assess client needs and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Prepare and provide sales quotes to customers in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the production manager and yard staff to ensure product availability and readiness for shipping and delivery.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies, including digital and print advertising, to promote products and services.
• Assist with social media management and content creation to strengthen brand awareness.
• Perform office and administrative duties, including answering phone calls and assisting walk-in customers and contracts.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Focused, self-motivated, and energetic.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, with strong leadership and sales skills.
• 2-3 years of progressive experience with a focus on sales growth.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in both metric and imperial measurements.
• Previous experience in construction.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Experience with marketing strategies, including digital marketing, SEO, and social media management, is an asset.
