Accountable for providing support to the Sales and Marketing team, which includes but is not limited to creating sales reports, client research and portfolio development, client and market report generation and analysis. Reaching out to new and existing clients for new offers, generating revenues and business profitability, updating the company's social media platforms, responding to customers' inquiries and concerns, ongoing communication with Castle Fuels locations, as well as administrative support for promotional events. This position reports to the Manager of Sales and Marketing.
Must be located in Kelowna.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various teams, reviewing, analyzing, developing and executing sales and marketing plans to target and secure new accounts.
Create marketing materials and sales presentations to support sales efforts.
Track Sales data and provide detailed reports on performance, ROI and other key metrics
Execute, monitor, and evaluate marketing campaigns (digital and social media) to build sales and enhance brand recognition.
Attend sales events when required, coordinate and prepare sales packages inclusive of marketing tools, quotes and historical research required.
Nurture strong working relationships and coordinate sales efforts with external stakeholders inclusive of Petro-Canada Lubricants and Industrial Fuels Representatives.
Build good working relationships with employees at all levels in order to effectively and efficiently lead and communicate upcoming special offers to share with clients in all corridors
Monitor and maintain data regarding sales activities as well as generate and provide input on analytical data to the sales team
Research and review customer and competitor history and feedback
Monitor and maintain research on market information in all corridors
Develop, oversee and maintain social media presences inclusive of website improvements
Consistently presenting oneself in a respectful and professional manner inclusive of being well groomed and wearing the appropriate business attire.
Warmly greet and welcome customers and provide superior customer service
Education, Skills and Abilities:
Post-secondary education with a strong focus on administration/coordination
Minimum 2 years' experience as an office, customer service or sales administrator
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Sales or sale support experience preferred
Advanced practical application MS Office; Word, Excel, Outlook.
Advanced understanding of social media platforms
Experience in data management, report generating, research and compiling reports
A basic knowledge of the wholesale fuel and lubricants business an asset (will be required to learn technical side of products)
Comfortable working with and understanding financial reports
